The Dayton Metro Library has a pair of mascots: Cosmo & Pip. The volunteer will either wear the Cosmo costume or handle the Pip puppet while making special appearances at Library or community events. While it takes responsibility, energy, and effort, it is also a ton of fun! A Volunteer must meet the physical requirements/limitations of the Mascot costume by being between 5’2"-5’8" tall and weigh up to 185 pounds. In addition the Volunteer will be trained in the Mascot’s "signature moves". Training will be provided and is required for this opportunity.
