Out of the Garden Project grows fresh vegetables, fruits, and herbs on three acres of land at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Greensboro, NC.
Out of the Garden Project is in need of volunteers to help tend our newly established urban farm. We are looking for help with projects such as: weeding existing garden beds, cleaning and sharpening tools, clearing overgrown brush areas, setting up irrigation systems, disassembling old structures, and establishing new beds.
Volunteers are especially needed Wednesday to help pass out produce for our weekly produce market.
No farm experience is necessary! But we do recommend you are prepared to work outside and do physical work.
Monday and Friday: 8 am - 11 am
Tuesday Harvest Days: 8 am - 2 pm
Wednesday Produce Mobile Market: 11 am - 3 pm
Saturday: 2 pm- 5 pm
Groups are welcome!
