Make a real difference in our community by helping distribute free food to families who are facing food insecurity. Volunteers are needed register food pantry guests, hand out prepacked boxes, and help our guests shop inside the food pantry.
Volunteer shifts are every Wednesday and Thursday from 1:30-4:30pm.

The Giving Hands Food Pantry provides nutritional food to residents of Newton, Jasper, and Butts counties to combat food insecurity, build relationships, and share the love of Christ.
Description
The Giving Hands Food Pantry assists those in need once a month with our appointment based, indoor shopping system. It is open on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. We are a partner of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, and we are their largest distributor in Newton County. We also receive generous in-kind grocery donations from local retailers and community partners.
