Are you good at interviewing people? We have just the volunteer opportunity for you. We are in need of a HR Specialist in a Remote Volunteer position. The volunteer In-Take coordinator coordinates and manages all elements of volunteers. The volunteer will only by responding to volunteer interest inquiries through our platform.

The volunteer HR Specialist duties include but are not limited to:

• Respond to Volunteer Inquiries: Engage with potential volunteers who express interest via platforms like VolunteerMatch, ensuring timely and professional communication.

• Interview and Vet Candidates: Conduct interviews using HR best practices to assess volunteers' motivations, skills, and alignment with YAMM’s mission.

• Volunteer Placement: Assign volunteers to roles that fit their interests and the organization’s needs, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

• Email Management: Assign organization email addresses to onboarded volunteers for internal communication purposes.

• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of volunteer interviews, placements, and email assignments to ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
