Mission Statement

The Love Quilt Project is a non-profit organization that uses the power of love to change the lives of vulnerable orphaned South African children, many of them affected by the HIV / AIDS pandemic.

Description

We build relationships between caring Americans and children in South Africa. American school children create messages of love to brighten lives and help heal souls of those touched by the HIV / AIDS pandemic. These beautiful art squares are stitched together by volunteer quilters into quilts that are distributed to children in South Africa’s hardest hit communities. The Love Quilt Project teaches kindness, tolerance and compassion. Donations help enrich lives through educational opportunities. And all who participate learn that the healing power of love can change the world.
