Food Sorting & Miscellaneous Assistance
Every day of the week, Just One More Ministry is in need of volunteers to assist with the receiving and sorting of our food donations. Your assistance is greatly needed to increase the number of meals we are able to provide to the community.
We ask each volunteer to learn local food regulations and to maintain a healthy hygiene before attending a any volunteer shift. Masks are not required.

Mission Statement
Just One More is a 510(c)3 faith based organization dedicated to functioning as the hands and feet of Christ on earth by inviting the ignored, the forgotten, the addicted, the hungry, the formerly incarcerated and lonely to come, be served and to serve alongside each other as God's children providing regular nutritious meals to those struggling with hunger and/or addiction while offering a Christ centered recovery program providing guidance & encouragement.
Description
Just One More Ministry (JOMM) began in 2008 as a small and informal food recovery program founded by Chris Capper working with Meal Outreach Ministry at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Wauwatosa. The food rescue program grew from a humble beginning of rescuing one box of bread and donating it to a central city church, into its current form rescuing and repackaging prepared food, fresh produce, and bakery from numerous Milwaukee suppliers and redistributing it to 65 Greater Milwaukee inner city organizations supporting pantries and community meal ministry programs. In 2018, JOMM provided partner organizations with over 500,000 meals, 1,125,000 pounds of food that would otherwise be discarded.
