We are in need of experienced Grant Writers with a successful track record of writing and receiving Government & Foundation funding. You will play a crucial role in securing funding to support our programs and initiatives.

We are a 501(c)3, non-profit whose mission is to teach, support, and empower women and girls globally to find their VOICE.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources.
  • Write clear, compelling, and persuasive grant proposals that align with funder requirements.
  • Work with internal teams to gather necessary information and support for grant applications.
  • Ensure all proposals comply with funder guidelines and organization policies.
  • Organize and maintain records of all grant-related documents and correspondences.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a grant writer, with a track record of successful grant submissions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong research skills and ability to identify potential funding opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience with nonprofit financials and budget creation is a plus.
  • Familiarity with donor databases is an advantage.

Description

Our service delivery model is executed through three programs:

  1. CWI: College Women Initiative (1st Generation College Women, ages 17-22)
  2. GEZ: Girls Empowerment Zone (ages 7-17)
  3. WEW: Women’s Empowerment Work (ageless)
Through our programs, we help women and girls gain confidence, build life skills, and achieve personal and professional success.

We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate volunteers to join our team and help us make a meaningful impact. Volunteers will have the opportunity to contribute to various aspects of the organization based on their skills and interests, and to be part of a supportive, dynamic community.
