Once a month, and twice a month in the winter, we travel to wherever people are staying and provide food, hot beverages, warm clothing, bus tickets, basic first-aid, survival needs, and information on services. We also provide food and basic veterinary care for our client's pets where possible. We think of ourselves as somewhat of a delivery service for our clients.
We meet for outreach on the second Saturday of every month between April and December and the second and fourth Saturdays of every month from January through March. Outreach runs from 6am until approximately 11:00am and volunteers need to be available to attend for the entire outreach unless they have made arrangements to leave earlier ahead of time.

Mission Statement
Seattle Homeless Outreach's mission is to meet our clients where they are, without expectation or judgment, and provide basic survival supplies including food, water, sleeping bags, tents, coats, clean needles, condoms, etc. But more importantly to provide a human connection to our homeless neighbors. Seattle Homeless Outreach builds relationships with our homeless neighbors and with social service providers in the Seattle area so that, if asked, we can help to connect people in need with services that will promote their ability to succeed.
Description
Seattle Homeless Outreach is an all-volunteer run non-profit that focuses on outreaching to the homeless who are living on the outskirts of downtown Seattle. We're in our first year of operation - go us! Come be a part of something new and exciting!
