Renew Therapeutic Riding Center's mission is to enhance the well-being of individuals in our community through the physical, cognitive and emotional benefits of therapeutic horsemanship.
We are in need of volunteers to work directly with our riders and horses. There are many different ways volunteers participate and assist in our programming, the primary role is by serving as a Lesson Volunteer. Some duties may include; grooming & tacking of a horse, leading the horse, walking next to the rider during a lesson, ensuring safety, and reiterating the Instructors intentions to riders.
Horse experience is NOT necessary to volunteer! We provide all necessary training for every role. During the winter, we operate in a heated indoor arena.
We are blessed to witness miracles on a pretty regular basis and love sharing what we do with others! Please contact us for more information.
