Intern is responsible for supporting the creation, development and implementation of programs within the organization. Creates and revises programs, develops policies and guidelines, with HR recruits and trains Core Team members, with Fundraising Coordinator raises funds, and ensures compliance with funding guidelines and government relations.

Primary responsibilities:

• Create and supervise programs.
• Plan and launch fundraising events to support programs.
• With Program Directors prepares budgets and ensure the budget is adhered to throughout the fiscal year.
• Reach out to the community for volunteers and support.
• Contribute to writing grant proposals for program funds.
• Coordinate w/Program Directors all activities of the program.
• With Program Director supervise, recruit, and train Core Team members.
• Monitor the effectiveness and results of the program and plan adjustments.
• Help prepare impact reports with statistical data for initiatives and programs
• Ensure compliance with all funding guidelines and government regulations.
• Attend community events to represent program.

This can be a remote/virtual position however, the preferred candidate will live/work in the Chicagoland area.
