If you want to serve your community and you have a compassionate heart especially for those experiencing their last days, then CHI Franciscan Hospice and Palliative Care has a meaningful volunteer experience for you.
Our volunteers take time to honor and celebrate people's lives all the way until the end. You can help by listening to a person's life stories or their favorite music. You can sit with them while their family gets a break. You can run errands, make courtesy phone calls, welcome patients and their families at Hospice House, and so much more.
CURRENTLY SEEKING NOTARIES to help families appoint durable power of attorney, finalize wills, and more. (Locations in Pierce, Kitsap, and King counties, WA state).
Volunteering usually takes place within a patient's own home.
