Birthright Office and Staff

Birthright of San Jose board members meet quarterly and guide the organization according to our charter and ensuring financial stability into the future. Board members are also expected to participate in a chosen area of interest and familiarize themselves with the day to day operations of the center. Board training involves filling out an application, attending an orientation, viewing a video and attending a board meeting before being accepted. We are looking specifically for skills in the area of grant writing, event planning or fundraising.

We are specifically looking for someone to handle our tax returns, send information out, handle local forms, etc.

Birthright 's mission is to provide emotional and practical assistence to women and their families facing an unplanned pregnancy so they are freed to make positive choices for themselves and their unborn child. All our services are free, confidential and non judgmental.

Description

Our services include a free pregnancy test, accurate information on all options and a listening ear to help her discern her choices. We have knowledge of community resources and a willingness to walk with her throughout her pregnancy and beyond as long as we are needed.
