S.T.U.F.F. Thrift Store, established in 1999 to support Nonprofit Organizations dedicated to caring for Veterans, Senior Citizens, Group Home Residents and Families in Crisis.
We are a Community Service approved location as well as our parent food bank.
Founded and operated by all volunteer teams, without which could not help as many people as it does. If you have a caring heart and a desire to serve, please join us as a Thrift Store Associate. Previous experience in thrift store operation or retail is useful, but not necessary. Groups are always welcome for special projects.
Openings available: Mon - Sat, 8 AM to 7 PM Flexible scheduling to fit your ability to help.
· General Tasks: Sort donations, hang clothes, tag for pricing, organize, assemble furniture/items, clean, arrange and rotate displays, load and unload donations, assist customers, bagging, help customers load purchases. Ability to understand instructions. Spanish skills are helpful.
· We also need Associates with any of these skills, or a willingness to learn: Computers, accessories, and audio equipment hook-up, testing, and set-up. Basic tool and yard equipment knowledge, e.g., reading a tape measure, tightening table legs, sorting light fixtures from lamps, and basic hardware knowledge. Experience with credit and cash sales, friendly, counting change back, working with the public, answering phones. Leadership experience always welcome.
