All the Same, Wild and Tame currently needs volunteers to assist with taking care of our adoptable kittens at PETCO. Petco stores offer space and some supplies at no charge and our partnership gets homeless cats out of the shelters and into homes. They only require that we find volunteers to maintain the habitat and the cats' well-being.

Duties include the thorough cleaning of the kennel, litter boxes, and food and water bowls, and refilling the food and water bowls for the day. A list of specific duties will be provided so you know what is expected. You should be able to stand for at least 1 hour and be comfortable bending, squatting and stretching during your shift. Our volunteer coordinator will communicate with you via text so having your own cell phone with unlimited texting ability is a must.
Once the cleaning is done, the fun begins! Use this time to pet or play with each cat to keep them happy. Be attentive and learn what each cat is comfortable with: some will be shy and want only a little bit of attention at a time while others will want to play with every toy we have. Try brushing a kitty too! This is called socializing and will make the kitties more adoptable.

These positions are long-term MORNING commitments. Make sure that you will be available to help on your scheduled day and time for a minimum of six months.
