About
You will make a difference in an individual and a family by teaching an adult to read. Increasing literacy skills, building confidence and rerouting their life path changes an adult reader's life.
Training
Literacy Staff will train you, and provide continued support, to work one-to-one with an adult who wants to learn to read, write or spell better. All materials are provided at no cost to you or the learner.
When
Meet twice weekly during library hours to study for 1.5 to 2 hours. You and your learner will set a repeating schedule at a time convenient for both of you. A 6-month commitment is required, however most tutoring pairs work together for a longer period.
Required Training
Please get in touch for the date of the next training.
