Search has an active Human Rights Committee that welcomes outside membership. We are currently seeking new participants from varied backgrounds outside our agency to give unbiased contributions to the committee.
In the Human Rights Committee, we discuss and review all concerns and incidents regarding the individual Human Rights of the people we serve. We have lively discussions and debates about behavioral plans, and we review ideas for individuals to thrive with as few restrictions as possible.
We meet once a month in Mt. Prospect. Meetings typically last 2 hours and snacks are provided.
