The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the grounds around the nature center by filling the bird feeders, fixing simple repairs, sweeping the boardwalk, trimming overgrown branches, and removing litter.
Requirements are:
* Must like to get your hands dirty and work outside in Florida
* Must be at least 15 years old
* Must not need court ordered service hours
* Must commit to a minimum of 2 hours per week for 6 months

The mission of Daggerwing Nature Center is to encourage an appreciation for our natural environment through education and demonstration, in an effort to inspire individuals to become personally involved in the conservation of south Florida's natural resources.
Description
Daggerwing Nature Center is set within the beautiful confines of South County Regional Park in western Boca Raton. Features include a 3,000 sq ft exhibit hall with live animals and interactive state-of-the-art exhibits, classroom facilities, laboratory, lobby, reading area, and an elevated 6/10-mile boardwalk which takes you on a relaxing journey through 40 acres of swamp habitat. The boardwalk has two trails, bench-style seating, as well as an observation tower available for you to view the abundant plant and animal life. Nature Center staff offer a variety of educational, interactive programs to people of all ages.
