Volunteer job title: Senior Transportation Driver
Job Description: RYDE is a senior transportation program helping adults who are 65 years and older. This is an opportunity to meet and make a difference in someone's life. You will be driving participating senior adults to grocery stores, medical appointments and other local destinations within Santa Clara County. You would be helping those in your community reach their desired destinations and prevent someone from being homebound. We operate Monday through Friday, 8AM to 4PM. If you are interested in participating, or just have some questions, please reach out.

About West Valley Community Services:
West Valley Community Services, Inc. is a non-profit, community-based agency that has been providing direct assistance and referral services to the west valley communities of Santa Clara County for over 45 years. Founded in 1973, West Valley Community Services provides a continuum of basic needs, including an in-house and mobile food pantry, homeless support, affordable housing, emergency financial assistance, family support, referrals, education, and case management. West Valley Community Services serves homeless and low-income individuals and families in the west valley communities of Cupertino, Saratoga, West San Jose, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, and the surrounding mountain regions.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 5 pm
Saturday and Sunday: Closed
