Our shelter located in Albany NY is home to approximately 140 cats, all of whom have distinct personalities. We are a no-kill, free roaming shelter. We are in need of volunteers who can give 2-3 hours a week to feed, clean up after and care for our residents. There are two shifts a day, seven days a week. We have a particular need for the weekday morning shifts which start about 8:00AM. No need to look fancy, just brush your teeth and put on some comfy clothes! If you love cats, this is the place for you. We accept couples, parent/child pairings, etc. If you're under the age of 15, you'll need an adult accompany you. The first is a "tour" of the shelter. The second shows a few of the chores you'll do on each shift.
