We are looking for people interested in writing grants, helping maintain our website, social media posts, working with our client advisors, marketing/fundraising efforts, assist shoppers with furniture/accessories selection in our Thrift Store, help people dropping off donations (Saturdays only) or help with fundraising events. Some of these tasks can be done right from your home.
Other in-person opportunities are available. The Food Pantry is open Tuesdays from 1-4 pm and Saturdays from 9 am-noon, currently on a drive-through basis. Other mornings, volunteers help pick up food at local supermarkets or unload the food truck at the Center. The Thrift Store is open 1-4 pm on Thursdays and from 9 am - 1 pm on Saturdays. Donations are accepted only on Saturdays from 1-3 pm. Other times during the week are available for volunteers to help prepare items for sale.
If you can give us a few hours a week, or a few hours a month, all is appreciated to help area needy. Come and join us help improve lives...and make new friends!
Thank you for your consideration of this worthy charity. We are 100% volunteer driven. Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
