Are you a caring person looking for a meaningful volunteer experience?
A small gift of your time can make a big difference in a hospice patient's life.
Hospice volunteers are needed to help in numerous ways by supporting patients and families so they can continue to live life to the fullest.
Volunteers are needed to provide companionship and friendly visits, as well as help with special projects like organizing family photos, provide end-of-life vigil care, or provide a few hours of respite for family caregivers.
The amount of time you volunteer is your choice. No prior experience is necessary. Potential volunteers just need to have an interest in helping others, a caring nature, and be able to participate in a training program prior to beginning their volunteer experience.
Please contact Amanda Peters at 913-477-8233 or amandap@ehcks.org for more information.
