ORGANIZATION: Abbey Hospice

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 9 people are interested

Abbey Hospice is looking for caring individuals who are willing to visit with patients in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilites, and in patients' homes.

Care giving is a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week challenge. Our mission is to support caregivers during this time by offering company, conversation, and comfort. Often volunteers can provide a few hours for care givers to leave the house, run some errands, and do some much needed personal care. As a hospice volunteer you will make a difference in people's lives, while heightening you own sense of values and helping you focus on those things that matter most in life.

There is no set amount of time to volunteer. It's on your schedule, whenever you're available. Please consider donating as little as an hour a week to help someone in their time of need.
