Great Oak Equine Assisted Programs is currently recruiting Program Volunteers. Volunteers will be crucial to our program and horse knowledge is not a requirement. We will provide thorough training over the course of two sessions.
Program Volunteers will assist with day to day operations, including, assisting in therapeutic riding lessons, barn management, office administrative tasks, fundraising efforts, or community outreach.
Interested volunteers should view our website, http://www.greatoakatrc.org/volunteer to see when our next Volunteer Training is scheduled and to complete the documentation prior to our volunteer orientation.
In addition internships are available for high school and college students.

Description
Great Oak Equine Assisted Programs is located on a 20-acre farm five minutes from downtown Aiken, South Carolina. Great Oak EAP is a reconfigured 501(3)(c) organization that was formerly known as STAR Riding. Great Oak EAP plans to become an affiliate of PATH International (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship).
Great Oak EAP is designed to promote certified Therapeutic Riding for children and adults with physical, emotional, and psychological challenges. Partnerships are being established with area organizations to connect Great Oak’s services with those who need them most.
