We are looking for volunteers to assist staff with various services that range from collating materials for packets to detailed computer work. The ideal candidate works independently in a quiet, low-key environment. This job is well-suited for a book lover who appreciates precise, ongoing duties and enjoys all types of books. Library experience is helpful but not a prerequisite.
The ideal candidate for this job:
- Has experience with basic catalog records
- Is willing to help out
- Is proficient in MS Word,
- Is adaptable in evolving circumstances
- Can maintain confidentiality
- Regular attendance is essential for this position

Our mission is to serve the blind and disabled readers in Colorado by providing books and magazines in large print, audio, or Braille format
Description
A free service to Coloradans of all ages who are unable to read standard print material due to visual, physical or learning disabilities whether permanent or temporary. CTBL provides audio, Braille and large-print books and magazines. We have served readers in Colorado since 1931as a member of the network libraries in the National Library Service for the Blind - Library of Congress. CTBL received the Colorado Association of Libraries (CAL) Library of the Year Award for 2017. CTBL was named the Library of Congress - National Library Service for the Blind and Disabled Library of the Year.
