Lifetime Connections Without Walls (LCWW) is a telephone-based socialization service that provides homebound or isolated older adults the opportunity to connect with other individuals from around the country and engage in fun, social, and learning opportunities for up to an hour a week. Are you an avid quilter, welder, or scupltor? Do you love biking long distances or exploring new outdoor sites? Our program is looking to expand our current offerings by adding a series in which individuals share their hobbies over their phone with our participants.
Are you looking to get involved in giving back to a great group of individuals all from the comfort and ease of your home or work? LCWW could be the volunteer opportunity for you! Volunteering is done over the phone and computer and can be done anywhere. Commitment is can either be weekly or monthly for 1 hour. All you need is a smile, an internet connection, and a desire to work with others!
Volunteer application and background check required. Training will take place on-site at Family Eldercare's office or virtually through Skype.
