Atlas Assistance Dogs(tm) (Atlas) is looking for a SharePoint Developer to develop, modify, and maintain its SharePoint infrastructure for use by Atlas clients, trainers, certifiers, administrators, and board members. Help us create a structure through which user groups can navigate, review, share, upload, and download content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop solution by performing requirements analysis and consulting with stakeholders.
  • Implement SharePoint-based workflows.
  • Design, develop, and manage site content.
  • Create a solution that could be maintained by a third party.
  • Protect business assets and data by developing secure environments.
  • Weekly sync with stakeholders.
  • Comply with Atlas policies including non-discrimination, respectful treatment for clients and dogs, and protection of confidential information.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience developing SharePoint solutions is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of how to setup workflows and permissions.
  • Experience with database management systems, e.g. Access, SQL.
  • Other program skills desirable.

Description

Atlas Assistance Dogs helps people who legally qualify for an assistance dog under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to obtain a certified assistance dog. We help to resolve challenges and remove barriers people face in obtaining an assistance dog. To do this, we:

  • Serve people with a wide range of disabilities.
  • Operate in a broad geographical area.
  • Serve all types of people.
  • Work with all dog breeds.
  • Enable people to work with their own dogs.
  • Enable people to train their own dogs or participate in the training.
