A Little Time... A Profound Impact
Are you looking for a rewarding experience, an opportunity to "give back"? Compassus Hospice is in need of caring volunteers to visit patients in the Cleveland, Ohio area. No hospice experience is required and free training is provided!
Most of our volunteers provide companionship visits: reading to our patients, painting finger nails, praying, playing music, attending facility activities, playing games or cards, crafts, looking at flowers outside, holding their hand, sitting with them at mealtimes, etc.
Some of our volunteers with special interests and training share their talents with our patients (massage therapy, music therapy, and veteran-to-veteran volunteering).
Please contact the office at (440) 899-7659 if you would like to learn more about becoming a hospice volunteer or if you're ready to share your time and talents. Opportunities available in Westlake, Rocky River, Avon, Avon Lake, Lakewood, Broadview Heights, Beachwood, and Cleveland.
Compassus Hospice provides culturally sensitive care to all ethnicities and religions.
