St. Mary's Hospice Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate and caring people as volunteers to help support our patients and families through their hospice journey. Our patient care volunteers offer emotional care support, and practical assistance that enhances the comfort and quality of life for patients and family/caregivers.
Volunteers....
- are non-medical
- do not participate in patient feeding
- do not providing direct care
- do not help administer patients medications.
Main duties of a volunteer are...
- to provide brief relief to caregivers when and if they need to run errands.
- read to patients,
- listening to music
- communicate with and listen to patients.
- and/or provide companionship.
- available minimum of 5+ hours a week

St. Mary's is a hospice agency that provides care to patients on their journey to end of life. We serve patients in their own homes, assisted living, residential care, and even nursing homes.
Our services provide a continuum of care which recognizes and respects to the physical, emotional, spiritual, social and other needs of the patient, family, and caregivers.
