Description
Located in suburban southwest Dallas, Methodist Charlton Medical Center is a modern teaching and full-service general acute care community hospital that has served the thriving community in far southwest Dallas County since 1975.
Volunteers at Methodist Charlton Medical Center are a vital part of the hospital's mission to improve and save lives through compassionate quality health care. Through the generous gift of time, talents and personal interests, our volunteers supplement the work of staff members in offering many special services that are so important to patients, their families, and the hospital staff. Our volunteers are a dedicated group of individuals who care about the health and welfare of people in their communities. They come in all ages & ability levels from high school students to senior citizens who want to give back. Some have contact with patients, while others work behind the scenes. Every day our volunteers touch the lives of patients, families and visitors. A friendly smile, a helpful hand and a warm heart can make a real difference in the experience people have when they are in the hospital or receiving care. Our dedicated volunteers work throughout the hospital. Their work is integral to the operation of many departments and their enthusiasm boosts the morale of the patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
