ContactLifeline is currently looking for new Board Members to join our team. We are a 24/7 Crisis Hotline that supports the state of Delaware. The Board of Directors meet monthly during the evening. If you have the passion to save lives and make a difference, please provide your resume to President@Contactlifeline.org. Our Mission Our mission is to keep people alive and safe, to help them through crises, and to connect them with relevant community resources. ContactLifeline strives to provide the highest quality telephone counseling, crisis intervention, information and referral, education and prevention services for persons in crisis and for persons in need of listening services. Additionally, ContactLifeline provides comprehensive statewide services to victims of sexual assault and secondary victims of sexual assault. ContactLifeline crisis responder services are provided by professionally trained and supervised volunteers and professionals who respond anonymously and confidentially to human needs, state-wide, 24 hours a day. * Crisis Helpline Services:Provides immediate statewide toll-free 24-hour access to telephone counseling, crisis intervention, information and referral services to anyone in need.
* Sexual Assault Advocacy and Services: Provides comprehensive statewide services to victims of sexual assault including statewide toll-free 24-hour telephone counseling, accompaniment services to local hospitals, police stations, and courts; short-term individual support for victims and families, prevention education on sexual assault. Counseling Support Services: Provides free counseling for victims of sexual assault.
