This position supports the Regional Disaster Cycle Services department. The Recovery Case Administrator supports the region by taking actions that would otherwise require a Technical or Regional Disaster Officer (RDO) Exception. Resolving issues at the region level expedites service delivery and empowers the region to manage case resolution locally Note: Recovery Case Administrators cannot have another role in RC Care.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor RC Care for requests to:
- Edit client contact information
- Add second responders to a case to complete ID/Address/Damage confirmations
- Submit Technical Exception requests
- Force close a Service
- Remove clients from a household
- Make client payment eligible
- Willingness to comply with Red Cross COVID-19 policies for in-person volunteer activities.
- Experience with data management
- Interested in supporting the delivery of services to clients affected by disaster and ensuring standardized financial assistance
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) or Database applications
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, SharePoint and MS Teams
- Ability to be flexible and make decisions in situations where there is ambiguity
- Ability to interpret Client Care doctrine and apply the principles to individual situations as they arise in the region.
