Food & Friends delivers medically tailored, delicious meals directly to our clients’ homes. Our professional dietitians and chefs work closely to provide individualized meal plans that aim to improve health and quality of life.
Assist staff with food preparation and packaging meals in our high-energy kitchen. Have a ball chopping, slicing, bagging, scooping, stirring, tying, and more--all while making a huge difference in the lives of those living with life-challenging illnesses!
No culinary experience is necessary.
Flexible shifts are available Monday through Saturday.

Mission Statement
The mission of Food & Friends is to foster a community caring for men, women, and children living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-challenging illnesses by preparing and delivering specialized meals and groceries in conjunction with nutrition counseling.
Description
Food & Friends is the ONLY organization in the region providing home-delivered meals and groceries to children and adults battling HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-challenging illnesses. Six days a week, our clients receive meals that are nutritionally specialized to meet their individual health needs. Our services are free of charge and based solely on the health status of those in need. With the help of more than 10,000 volunteers and thousands of generous donors, more than 1.8 million meals are delivered each year.
We believe in the power of compassion and the importance of neighbors helping neighbors, so we create opportunities for impactful and fulfilling volunteer service that helps our sick neighbors in need and builds a healthier community for all.
