Our community garden space is an amazing asset to the urban neighborhood of Northside. More than forty participants are able to grow food and pollinators for their families, the seniors of McKie Community Center, and the local food pantry. Through recent renovations of the property, the garden grounds have been exposed to various construction equipment and debris. Many of the raised beds are in need of repair and/or replacement, and the pathways are in need of improvements. To provide the safest environment and better maintenance options, we need the help of some enthusiastic volunteers, and resources. Volunteers will help with demolition, reconfiguring and rebuilding of raised beds in a community garden.
