Hope to see you at the ranch!

Mission Statement

F.R.I.E.N.D.S. mission and vision are to provide a permanent safe haven for all horses that are carriers of EIA within the state of Florida as well as for any horse in immediate need of assistance in Broward County preventing their needless destruction. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. provides sanctuary to all horses we accept. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. does not buy, sell, trade or give away horses. Instead, we offer them a lifetime of sanctuary so these animals will never need help again.

Description

F.R.I.E.N.D.S., Inc. is a non-profit 501 (c)3 organization that was established in 1987. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. offers various programs to the community in an effort to welcome everyone to the world of horses and volunteerism. F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Horse Rescue & Sanctuary rescues all EIA positive horses in Florida, which would otherwise be destroyed. We are a quarantine facility with 52 equine plus other small farm animals. All of our funds go to the direct benefit of the horses. Our ranch provides an alternative to euthanasia for the horses and an opportunity for our members to enjoy the companionship of a horse, which is otherwise too expensive for many people. We have numerous programs and events where families and friends can participate.
