Join Our Garden Team at The Salvation Army Door of Hope!

Are you passionate about gardening and community building? We have the perfect opportunity for you! The Salvation Army Door of Hope is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help teach and lead our community in maintaining our beautiful vegetable garden.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Small Groups: Guide participants in watering, feeding plants, and keeping the garden tidy.
  • Share Your Knowledge: Communicate garden needs and tips with clients to ensure a thriving garden.
  • Get Your Hands Dirty: Enjoy the therapeutic benefits of gardening while making a difference.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Commitment: Just 2 hours a week, with flexible days and times to fit your schedule.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain appropriate boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Work effectively with a diverse group of staff and participants.
