1,000th Ramp Installation Celebration
1,000th Ramp Installation Celebration January 2016

project:HOMES, a housing nonprofit located in Richmond, Virginia, needs volunteers to build and assemble wheelchair ramps for persons with disabilities in the greater Richmond areas -- a great experience for groups. The ramps are a modular system that is built in our warehouse and delivered to the disabled person's home for final assembly and installation. Designed to meet all accessiblity requirements, these units can be assembled in about a day using volunteer crews. Volunteers are also needed to complete small-scale home repair projects like building fences, painting railings, and yard work.
