Mountain Valley Hospice is seeking kind-hearted volunteers to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families. If you're looking to offer your time and care, we would love for you to join us!
Volunteer Opportunities:

Mountain Valley Hospice serves hospice patients in 17 counties in NW North Carolina and SW Virginia. We have eight office sites that include: Stuart, VA; Hillsville, VA; Martinsville, VA; Mount Airy, NC; Dobson, NC; Elkin, NC; Pilot Mountain, NC; and Yadkinville, NC; and are building a hospice home facility in Yadkin County.

Description
Since 1983, we've been providing the highest level of compassionate, quality hospice and palliative care for those who are facing serious illness. We allow you to spend more quality time with those you love and do the things that are most important to you.
We began as Hospice of Surry County, Inc, and then merged with Northern Hospice of Surry County in 2005 to form Mountain Valley hospice and palliative care. We serve patients and families facing serious illness in 18 counties throughout North Carolina and Virginia. Through our scope of services, we care for the entire family, not just a set of symptoms. We provide care for patients wherever they call home.
Our health care team consists of physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, chaplains, counselors, and volunteers. We invite you to learn more about us and our scope of services that include: support groups, Love's PEAK services for children, special programs for Veterans, Alzheimer’s support, and grief support.
