There are countless ways volunteers support the USO, but they all share an abiding dedication to our service members and their families. Whether it’s helping out at a special event, cheering troops at homecoming, manning a front desk or providing a listening ear, our volunteers are the reason service members know they can count on the USO.
MEPS Center Volunteers are key to ensuring new recruits are introduced to the USO from their entrance into the military. They provide a welcoming environment and support the daily operations of the USO Center. Common duties include greeting recruits, providing information, staffing the desk and snack counter, and supporting USO programs and initiatives.
The MEPS center is open 5 days a week from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with 4 hour shifts.
