Description
Volunt2Thai, A Decade of Making a Difference
The Volunteer to Thailand "Volunt2Thai" project, active for more than 10 years in Thailand, particularly in the Northeast, focuses on village development with a special emphasis on supporting disadvantaged children. In this region, many people are extremely poor and individual family members often have to leave their children and elderly relatives behind for extended periods to seek work in urban centers or abroad. This situation has severe impacts on the development of children who are left without their parents and have to take care of their siblings and elderly family members. The local school system is underdeveloped, facing a critical shortage of teaching materials and trained teachers.
Volunt2Thai offers a plethora of activities for volunteers. Whether your interest lies in sports, yoga, physiotherapy for the elderly, languages, music, nature and cultivation, or even culinary arts like baking bread and preparing meals with homegrown vegetables, there is something for everyone.
