We are looking for volunteers with an interest in the environment to perform a variety of tasks, some seasonal. Volunteer opportunities include: planting, weeding, seed collecting, brush cutting, wildlife monitoring, fund-raising, teaching, writing and office help.

Description

We are a non-profit conservation organization and we: 1) PROTECT native plant and wildlife communities in the Barrington, Illinois area. 2) INFORM the community of the importance of natural resources and of a caring attitude toward the environment. 3) RESTORE and recreate native plant communities - prairie, savanna, wetland, and creek.
