The Parent Pals Program of Brown County Health & Human Services Department is in need of volunteer mentors to work with parents on issues such as daily living skills including budgeting, parenting, household routine, meal planning, or just being an emotionally supportive friend for an overwhelmed parent.
Volunteers see their parent at least three times per month and can make phone calls in addition to this requirement. Matches are made based on compatibility. Orientation, training, and match support are provided. Mileage reimbursement is provided upon request.
