Are you looking for a unique and rewarding experience? Compassus Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to visit hospice patients in assisted living communities and nursing homes. As a hospice volunteer, your role may be as simple as reading a book or newspaper, listening to music, attending an activity, taking a walk, playing cards or holding a hand. We also would love to talk with you if you have a special talent, profession or training that could be shared ie: Pet Therapy, Massage Therapy, Reiki Healing, Hair care or Manicurists.
The heart of volunteering in hospice is simply enjoying each others company; time both you and your patient will find rewarding, uplifting and inspiring. Volunteer placement and time is planned for your convenience!
Please contact our office if you are interested in hearing more!
