Are you looking for a fun and rewarding volunteer opportunity where you gain valuable work experience? Want volunteer hours? Looking to make new friends in your community? Need a reliable reference?
The Toronto International BuskerFest is North America’s largest street performing festival. Join comedians, escape artists, sword-swallowers, musicians, magicians, fire jugglers, acrobats, aerial artists, clowns and daredevils; over a hundred of the most extraordinary street performers from around the world, as they descend upon Woodbine Park for some serious fun, laughs, and entertainment! You can be part of the magic while also helping to raise much-needed funds and awareness for Epilepsy Toronto!
As a non-profit, in particular, we rely on fundraising events like BuskerFest to support our agency and help us continue to provide free services to people with epilepsy in our community. We are thrilled to be back and need your help now more than ever before!
There are 1 in 100 people living with Epilepsy in our community. Meaning, if you have 300 friends on your social media, 3 of those people have epilepsy now or will get it soon. By volunteering, you can help make a difference.
This year, we are looking for energetic, reliable individuals who are passionate about volunteering and helping others. There are many different roles to choose from, each with its own unique learning experiences. From hospitality and event management to sales and business, to technology and communications; volunteers are gaining important skills, and making reliable connections, all while having a blast. This is also a great way to get volunteer hours and make new friends in the community.
At Epilepsy Toronto, volunteers are more than just a number. We take time to get to know you, support your interests, and appreciate everything you do for the charity. For those hard-working volunteers, we would be happy to be a reference for future employers, if needed.
Join our team of over 400 volunteers and help us reach our annual goal of raising $100,000 for Epilepsy Toronto at our largest, most exciting event, Toronto International BuskerFest!
