Hello there,
Welcome to the Fremont Senior Center Kitchen where we make comfort foods in a casual setting. The tasks that are required:
- Prep, cook, and plate all produce, proteins, starches, sauces, and desserts
- Keep kitchen in a clean and orderly fashion
- Work in a sanitary condition when handling different types of foods
- Assist in moving and cleaning chairs and tables
- Communicate effectlively as a team
- Learn new techniques from the Chef's and other volunteers
- Serve disabled Seniors
- Participate in all activities that are offered
This is a first come first serve opportunity, so if you do not have a place yet to fulfill your hours to graduate please come promptly. The first people to come get priority to scheduling and can determine when they need time off for vacation. The Age Well Center is a community facility that caters to the general public primarily for Senior needs. Classes, Lunch, Tax Services, Health Services, and many other programs are available at this facility. This is a "home away from home" for our Seniors in this community, with your help we will make our facility run stronger.
