Lunch has Arrived

Food feeds the soul and when done with a friendly smile can really brighten up someone's day. You can make a difference in the health and well-being of our Minneapolis seniors by providing a nutritious meal delivered right to their door step.

Meals can be picked up at CES between 11:00am-11:30 and meal delivery normally takes about an hour.

Deliver once a month, once a week or as much as 3x a week. You can choose to deliver to the same route each time or take any route that is open.

We need your help. Please consider joining our team and support our seniors! If you want to do a ride-a-long to see what it is all about we are happy to set up a delivery time with a seasoned volunteer.

About Community Emergency Service

Location:

1900 11th Ave. South, Minneapolis, MN 55404, US

Mission Statement

Community Emergency Service transforms lives by serving neighbors, sharing resources and becoming community - a place where people come hungry and leave hopeful.

Description

Community Emergency Service is a multi-service non-profit organization that runs a number of food based assistance programs for Minneapolis residents. Our main programs include: Food Shelf, Meals on Wheels, Home Delivery, Bonus Friday Distribution, and East African Food Distribution.

CES is located within one of the most diverse, densely populated neighborhoods in Minneapolis; over 20,000 people live within its boundaries. 46% of families living in the Phillips neighborhood are below the federal poverty level.

At CES, we strive to serve all our neighbors in need without distinction or test. We invite support from volunteers and donors and are open to collaboration with other agencies, regardless of religious affiliation.

Will you help us move people from hunger to hope?
