Join us on Saturday August 10th to help us cleanup Riverkeeper Park that needs our help. It’s easy to participate and we provide all the gloves, trash grabbers, and bags at check-in.
When you arrive at Riverkeeper Park, check-in with Carol to get started picking up trash, raking, and cleaning up other debris. Supplies will be provided if needed but you are encouraged to bring gloves, water, hat and other personal items you might need. Please wear sturdy shoes and clothing that is ok to get dirty.
We can't wait to join together in service to our community! Please contact Ariel Majorana, ariel@russianriverkeeper.org with any questions about volunteering.

Mission Statement
Russian Riverkeeper protects and restores our watershed environment for the benefit of current and future generations.
Description
Russian Riverkeeper has been fighting since 1993 to ensure a thriving river system and your rights to fishable, swimmable and drinkable waters.
With your help, Russian Riverkeeper will:
- Adapt to climate change. As we face another year of unprecedented drought, we must go beyond emergency water conservation and permanently use less water in our homes, our businesses, and our agriculture.
- Defend our rivers, streams, wetlands, and ocean by providing science-based advocacy and by influencing policy to better protect our watershed.
- Tackle trash. Our Clean Team removes trash from the river 5 days a week and mobilizes hundreds of volunteers to help at special cleanup events throughout the year. Trash strangles our river ecosystem, our ocean, and the local economy that depends on clean water.
- Restore healthy habitat to reduce flooding, keep our water clean and abundant, increase public recreation, and improve our climate resilience.
- Educate & empower youth to become our next generation of environmental stewards.
