WANTED: PATIENT VOLUNTEERS FOR HOSPICE PATIENTS!
Hi! I am Taylor Garner the Volunteer Coordinator at Heart to Heart Hospice!
I am always looking for a new volunteer!
By volunteering and giving your time, you can make a significant impact on the quality of life for others. Our volunteers provide a variety of supportive services in different settings and are indispensable members of our team. We are always looking for Volunteers to visit with our Hospice Patients. Volunteers can sit with patients for patient support and do activities such as coloring, listening to music, or just there to talk.
Our Volunteers can also be there for caregiver relief.
They can sit with our patients so family members can take a break and relax.
Every situation is different and we like to help however we can.
Heart to Heart Hospice Volunteers are required to attend a 1 day training, pass a background check, and must be atleast 17 years old or older.
Heart to Heart Hospice's Volunteers are not trained to handle meds and/or help assist patients. We are here for emotional support.
Our office is located in Sherman, Tx but we offer our services in Grayson, Cooke and Fannin County,
If you would like to hear more please reach out to me, Taylor Garner at 903-892-6406
