We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer proficient in WooCommerce to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining WordPress websites, with a strong focus on integrating and customizing WooCommerce functionalities to enhance e-commerce capabilities. This role requires a mix of technical skills and creativity to ensure our online presence is both effective and engaging.

1. Website Development and Maintenance:

   • Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites with a focus on usability, performance, and responsiveness.
   • Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet business requirements.
   • Ensure all websites are optimized for SEO and adhere to web standards and accessibility guidelines.

2. WooCommerce Integration:

   • Implement and customize WooCommerce for e-commerce functionality, including payment integration, product listings, and customer management.
   • Develop custom WooCommerce plugins and themes when off-the-shelf solutions do not meet business needs.
   • Monitor and optimize the performance of the e-commerce platform to ensure a seamless shopping experience.

3. Security and Updates:

   • Implement security measures to protect sites from cyber threats and breaches.
   • Regularly update WordPress, plugins, and themes to maintain site security and functionality.
   • Perform backups and disaster recovery operations as necessary.

4. Collaboration and Support:

   • Work closely with the web design and marketing teams to integrate aesthetic elements and marketing campaigns into the website.
   • Provide technical support and training to team members and stakeholders on WordPress and WooCommerce functionalities.
   • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers as needed.

5. Testing and Optimization:

   • Conduct regular testing for website functionality and user experience across multiple browsers and devices.
   • Use analytics to assess the user experience and make improvements to site design and functionality.
   • Implement A/B testing to optimize conversions on e-commerce platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
• Proven experience as a WordPress developer with strong WooCommerce expertise.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
• Solid understanding of e-commerce SEO practices.
• Knowledge of website security protocols and data protection measures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
