Feline Urban Rescue and Rehab (FURR) is an all volunteer organization that works tirelessly to save homeless cats and kittens in the Lehigh Valley and Western NJ. Most of our rescued animals are kept in foster homes, but we have partnered with Petsmart to keep some of our felines there, too. Right now, we are in dire need of people to come in and clean, feed, and socialize with the cats at this location.
The cats need lots of love and attention, and your time makes a huge difference! We ask the volunteers to commit to one time a week and that weekly committment is generally 1 to 2 hours depending on the number of cats at the store at that time.

Mission Statement
To educate the public on the necessity of spaying and neutering, which will drastically reduce the number of free-roaming cats. Description
Feline Urban Rescue and Rehab, Inc. (FURR) is a volunteer based non-profit cat rescue organization. We are a progressive and responsible group, committed to spaying and neutering and providing proper veterinary attention to all cats that come into our care. FURR finds homes for more than 250 cats per year. We are active in doing companion animal adoptions which entail placing friendly cats into good, loving homes. Additionally, we socialize feral cats and kittens whenever possible, and we provide low cost spay neuter options for those who need them. We also assist individuals and communities with feral cat colony management, fixing hundreds of cats every year using the Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) method, which helps to humanely control free roaming cats. All of our cats and kittens are either in foster care in private homes or are residing in one of our 3 adoption centers, which are at the Petco stores in Whitehall, PA or Phillipsburg, NJ or at the PetSmart in Easton, PA. FURR has an organizational presence in both states.
