ORGANIZATION: Mobility Matters

Mobility Matters Logi

Our mission is to provide free door-through-door transportation to seniors and veterans who need escorted rides with compassionate volunteer drivers in Contra Costa County. Our goal is to give seniors and veterans the ability and dignity to age in place with transportation and referral resources.

The Rides for Seniors and Veterans programs is looking for caring, mature individuals between the ages of 25-75 who are willing to provide one-on-one transportation in their own private car to an ambulatory senior who can no longer drive. These rides are primarily for basic necessities such as medical care, dental and grocery shopping trips.

Come join our team and find out what a difference you can make in another person's life. It will change their life, and it will most certainly change yours!
